Depression

We all have our ups and downs but when you stay down, everything else around you will fall with it. Don’t let the health risk of depression keep you from reaching your full potential. Depression can be due to many reasons, but one thing is for sure, you’re still living and breathing, and you have every right to living your best life. Learn how to fight off depression and live a happier life with SMAHSA guide to help those struggling with depression.

A Fixed Mindset

Having a fixed mindset is believing that you are born with intelligence, talent, or wealth. This is far from true. Practice makes perfect is a saying that needs to be embed in your mind. Nothing happens overnight and success is one of them. Have faith and consistency to maintain being driven. Each day gets better than the last when you don’t give up. Recite affirmations to keep motivational vibes flowing.

Being Overwhelmed

Your task list will only grow and grow when you don’t trim the list. Letting all your task piled up at once makes you feel undefeated. If you have a long list of things to take care, group into sections by the days of the week. For example, if you have 20 things to get done this week knock off 5 task a day instead. Download this free to-do list to help you follow through.

Pleasing those you shouldn’t

It’s hard when you’re a people pleaser but not everyone needs your motivation, especially if that means leaving out yourself. When you’re fixated on pleasing everyone else you lose touch with your own wants and needs. Always set time aside for self even if it’s just a couple hours to start. In those couple of hours, you can focus on you and satisfy your desires. You are always routing for others. It’s time you start rooting for yourself.

Settling for Less

You deserve more than what you’ve been settling for. When you feel settled its natural to be content with where you are and not pursue anything else. Settling can leave you stuck, shake this mentality and stay active with hobbies that bring you happiness. Learn a new trade to broaden your skills your career.

Seeking motivation isn’t scary or embarrassing. Take it one day at a time and never lose the momentum.
